Volunteer

We are grateful for our partnership with City of Durango and their generous donation to the VOA Southwest Safehouse and Durango Community Shelter. With the City of Durango’s support, we were able to provide residential Shelter services to families and individuals experiencing homelessness and survivors of domestic violence. The Durango Community Shelter and Southwest Safehouse help to address housing affordability and sustainability in Durango by not only providing safe clean and sober shelter but also by providing clients with the support to gain and maintain self-sufficiency and transition into independent housing
