Description
Program volunteers make it possible for elders and individuals with disabilities to keep living in their own homes by making home safety improvements (e.g. installing grab-bars, handrails, chair risers, wheelchair ramps, etc.). The handyperson program needs volunteers throughout Larimer County. Especially in Fort Collins, Loveland and the surrounding area. The program offers a very flexible schedule with opportunities to help during the day, evenings and weekends.
DO YOU HAVE A FEW HANDYPERSON SKILLS?
Some basic tools and a couple of hours a month can make a difference, we have jobs for you!
Not good with tools? Not to worry - you can still help out by changing light bulbs, installing plug-in night lights, and other non-technical home safety improvements. You can also work with an experienced handyman volunteer to learn on the job.
