Safety of Seniors Handyperson Program

Helping seniors live safely.

Volunteer

Volunteers of America's Handyperson Program in Northern Colorado focuses on home safety through assessment, education, and repair. Our primary goal is to help reduce the risk of injury from slips, trips and falls. We provide simple safety repairs and minor home maintenance for limited-income seniors and disabled adults who reside in Larimer County. Services are free; donations are welcome and support the cost of project materials and program expenses.

Falls in the home are the number one cause of serious injury and hospitalization for individuals aged 60 and over.
