Shelter from the Storm Luncheon
Each fall, Volunteers of America hosts a luncheon to benefit the Durango Community Shelter and the Southwest Safehouse. This year's luncheon has been postponed for everyone's safety.
Wear the Love
Wear the Love is an annual event featuring a jewelry piece handcrafted by a local Durango artist. Proceeds directly support the women and children served by the Volunteers of America Southwest Safehouse and Durango Community Shelter.

Program Tours
Join us for a tour of the Durango Community Shelter to learn more about our programs in Southwest Colorado and how you can get involved. Tours are scheduled from 12 to 1 p.m. once a quarter, and a light lunch is served. Tours are not fundraising events, but rather a time to share information about our programs, and see the Shelter 'from the inside.' To reserve a spot at the next tour please call 970-259-1021.
