Volunteers of America Colorado to Host St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

Loveland– Volunteers of America Colorado will welcome media coverage on Friday, Mar. 17 for the annual Smiling Spoon St. Patrick’s Day Lunch.

The celebration will feature Irish dancers and a lunch of corned beef and cabbage, mashed potatoes, Irish soda bread, and butter brownies. Diners must be age 60 or older and residents of Larimer County. There is no cost to attend, though donations to VOA Colorado are always welcome. Reservations are required and should be made by calling the Fort Collins office at (970) 472-9630 x 1.

With more than 85 diners already confirmed to attend, VOA Colorado counts the annual St. Patrick’s Day lunch as its largest Northern Colorado congregate event of the year. Owing to the covid-19 pandemic, this is the celebration’s first year back since 2019. VOA Colorado appreciates the City of Loveland for its consistent support of this event.
